A brow lift is a surgical procedure designed to elevate the brows and improve forehead wrinkles. While there are several techniques to perform this procedure, Dr. Rosh often uses a pretrichial brow lift.
This approach can enhance brow position, shorten the forehead by lowering the hairline, and soften forehead wrinkles. The incision is carefully beveled to allow hair growth through the scar, making it virtually undetectable once healed.
Dr. Rosh offers both surgical and non-surgical options. Surgical: Pretrichial (incisions hidden along the hairline) and BrowPexy (lid crease incision to raise the tail end of the brow). Non-surgical: Botox, Dysport, or Jeuveau to relax muscles that pull the brows down for a natural lift.
After a brow lift, patients may experience mild discomfort, numbness, and swelling, although these symptoms usually subside after a few days. Results are noticeable right away and continue to improve as swelling subsides.
