Soft tissue fillers are for wrinkles at rest, which can occur on the forehead, around the eyes, and/or the mouth. These fillers are all hyaluronic acid-based and are made from substances found naturally in the body (i.e joint space). These fillers are injected directly into the skin at various depths keeping in mind the complex and unique facial vascular patterns to restore volume and reduce the appearance of fine and deep lines. They can be used around the eyes to improve hollowness and reduce the appearance of dark circles.
Fillers are often combined with neuromodulators such as Botox®, Xeomin®, Dysport®, and Jeaveau® to work synergistically in facial rejuvenation. There is a risk of adverse complications that can occur with filler placement, which is why qualified experts should be performing these procedures.
Kybella (deoxycholic acid) is a product that helps lyse fat cells for an improved appearance of facial and body contours. Kybella is used to decrease the appearance of fat that hangs below the chin or around the bra line for improved body contours.
Sculptra is a collagen stimulant that can be used to restore facial volume. It contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible synthetic substance that stimulates collagen production to improve the appearance of deep lines, creases, and folds to give a more youthful appearance.

There is a small risk of adverse complications that can occur with filler placement, such as skin mottling and vascular complications, which is why qualified experts should be performing these procedures. Choosing a qualified and experienced physician can reduce any risk of complication.
